Graduate recital for the Master of Music degree in Early Music.

This program will present an exploration of the mythological Dido character's emotional journey throughout her encounter with Aeneas. Quotes from literature such as Virgil's "Aeneid" and Purcell/Tate's "Dido and Aeneas" will be used to narrate, as works by Strozzi, Francesco degli Organi (aka Landini), Handel, Dowland and Campra convey the sentiment of each phase of this legendary tale.
